Chapter Five: The sudden addition of even more player characters.  And pie! Cast of Characters Agnak Stonestalker Monekekali:  He's big.  He's tough. And... he still loves kids. Awwwww. Solomon Hawkins: Likes to make things go boom.  And apparently has some sort of secret.  Gilphine: Charms the birds from the trees like a Disney Princess.  You know... the terrifying feral one. Basil Vellurian: No longer the new guy.  Still manages to piss off literally every NPC. Marlin :  Bucker of swashes and spoiler of ambushes. Hannah:  The Cleric.  Oh thank god we have a healer.  Maybe they won't die now. While our intrepid heroes are busy angering powerful and likely evil spellcasters, burying bodies, and forgetting all about Sheen (where is he, anyway?) things are going swimmingly in Daggerford.  Marlin Lanngolyn and his lovely bride Hannah Lanngolyn-Moonstar, a dandy human and a quiet half elf shoved together in an arranged marriag...

Chapter Four: Everyone Expects the Barovian Exposition

  Cast of Characters Agnak Stonestalker Monekekali :  He's big.  He's tough. And... he loves kids. Awwwww. Solomon Hawkins : Wait... is this guy actually their leader?  Gilphine : The tough girl.  Really tough.  Tough as bark.  And she looks like a sapling. Sheen :  The unconscious bard.  It's Weekend at Sheen's. Basil Vellurian : The new guy.  Just what we need.  Another pasty human.   When last we left our intrepid warriors, Solomon's witty banter with a mysterious man left his friends burnt to a crisp in a dark alley.  Their powerful new "friend" tossed him a handful of healing scrolls and departed in a mist, taking with him a ton of missed lore dump opportunities. Solomon, now faced with a Sophie's choice of which of his friends (are they friends yet?  Is that maybe too strong a word?) to save.  The choice was easy.  Up came the adventurers being played by people who didn't flake out after one game....

Chapter Three: A Barbecue with Friends. And some Basil.

  Cast of Characters Agnak Stonestalker Monekekali :  A seven foot Veruca Salt.  With an axe. Solomon Hawkins : A monster hunter whose tongue is as sharp as his wooden stake.  Or so he thinks.  Gilphine : The deadly archer and would be big spoon. Sheen :  The bongo wielding dwarven bard...just a seven year old boy at heart.  Has just been knighted "Sir Soon to Be Written out of the Plot Because His Player Ditched Us." Basil Vellurian : The new guy.  Just what we need.  Another pasty human.   When last we left our heroes, they had inexplicably decided to go down a dark spiral staircase into a most certainly monster filled basement.  Agnak insists on leading the way, despite being the only one in the party without the ability to see in the dark.   There is much stamping of feet and pouting until the others grudgingly agree to do things Agnak's way.  Sheen cowers in the back, whimpering incoherently about monsters....

Chapter Two: Into the Mists

Chapter Two:  The Mists...and a Totally Not Haunted House   Cast of Characters Agnak Stonestalker Monekekali :  A seven foot Goliath and walking EEO complaint.  With an axe. Solomon Hawkins : The haunted human monster hunter.  He makes brooding an art.  Gilphine : The feral half elf.  She likes trees.  More than she likes you. Sheen :  The bongo wielding dwarven bard.  He likes everyone.  He really likes you. Despite all clear warnings to stay on the road, it takes our adventurers about five seconds to go "Ooooh!  Shiny!!!"  Shiny, in this case, being potential werewolf tracks.  Sheen, being apparently the only one with the sense his momma gave him, declares that he will wait on the road while the others explore.  He is quickly goaded into joining them in pursuing their certain doom. (Editor's Note: As I mentioned.  Sheen is a first time player.  This explains the fact he still has something vaguely res...

Chapter One: Exposition and Heavy Handed Plot Hooks Cast of Characters Agnak Stonestalker Monekekali:  A seven foot Goliath and walking EEO complaint.  With an axe. Solomon Hawkins: The haunted human monster hunter.  He makes brooding an art.  Gilphine: The feral half elf.  She likes trees.  More than she likes you. Sheen:  The bongo wielding dwarven bard.  He likes everyone.  He really likes you. It was a dark and tropey night in Daggerford. As with any tale of adventure based on shameless plagiarism, our story begins in a tavern.  Not just any tavern.  (OK, actually it really could be any tavern.  They're pretty much all the same).  On this dark and stormy night, a cheerful ebony skinned dwarf is making merry playing a set of bongos to the delight of the crowd.  He winks at the few lady townsfolk as he continues to beat out his joyful rhythms.  This is Sheen.  He is a dwarf.  And he likes the ladies....
